The arrival of Tottenham means so much to everybody associated with Sunderland AFC. Fans and Steve Bruce still bitter over the protracted transfer saga of the man picture above, Darren Bent. Players such as Alan Hutton, Steed Malbranque and Peter Crouch are all affected in some way with the ties between the two clubs. Be it loans, transfers or nearly transfers - and in the respect of Peter Crouch, he will be looked at in more detail in a later article. For now, here are the feelings running through my veins as we prepare to entertain Spurs on April 3rd. |
