Sunderland AFC Report Manager: Good
The season is over and it's time for those end of year reports you dreaded as a child. Over the coming days we will bring you a report detailing the positives and negatives of each major area of the team. From manager to owner and players to fans, they will all appear here. First up and under the spotlight is Steve Bruce, he comes out of it all pretty well given he was at the helm of a team that went 14-games without a win this season. |

The season has come to an end, a 13th place finish may not be the best Sunderland could have achieved but we only have to go back 12 months to see just how far we have come in this time. The appetite for success remains insatiable as always, but in hindsight we should be relatively happy with what was, at times - a brilliant season, and at other times - a nightmare. We all know next season we will come back better and stronger, especially with the old rival to compete with. |
