Hutton and Mensah were once again influential in our defence today against Man City and I only hope both guys stay fit untill the end of the season, as the back four is starting to look steady and hard to beat.

Bruce must get these lads at the end of the season. We have the option to get Mensah from Lyon but Im not so sure about Alan Hutton. Id happily pay £5m for the guy, he was class again today despite the threat of Bellamy and Barry.

His pending surgery issue to sort-out the recurring injury problem may prove the stumbling block but if the price is right & he can be 'fixed'- he is worth the investment-imo.

He's got some pretty big pocket aswell- considering the last few games he's had Fabregas, Zamora & Tevez all looking @ the inside of it!

To be fair- I'm not sure what contract he has with Spurs or their valuation of him before his loan move but he seemed a ways down the pecking order.('the hutt' might know more??)

Based on his performnances so far that I have seen he'd be in the 3-5 mil bracket- possibly more...

Knowing Spurs tho' it won't be as clean-cut as it could be & if he has peformed well for us it will probably give them 'Levyrage' in the deal!!

Both are useful for SAFC. But I doubt about Hutton.

I'll put money on it that Redface wont sell him unless the loan has an agreed option to buy. Hutton is starting to look the beans & the beetrooted one will not want to make a dick out of himself as he has done with Darren (My missus could have scored that)Bent.
