Wigan, the team that began the torrid run of form that Sunderland are currently on, ensured it continued this Saturday as they forced a 1-1 draw. The match was the definition of two halfs, with sloppy play from the hosts allowing Wigan a 1-0 lead at half time but a dominant performance from Sunderland in the second half could have, and probably should have, yielded more than the solitary goal they managed. |
